Spiideo Perform - For Coaches
Perform will help you capture, analyze and share video. You can schedule recordings however there isn’t a way to recover footage if the recording wasn’t set or manually started.
Here’s how it works:
Capture: Use automatic cameras or bring in broadcast feeds to capture every practice or game with live video and maximum flexibility.
Breakdown: Code each shift with collaborative, custom tagging tools and auto-generated event or tracking data.
Analyze: Go from coding to coaching without leaving Perform. Integrated data, drawing tools and presentations make it easy to turn insights into action.
Share: Simplify who gets video and how. No seat-based licensing, no steep learning curve, no more file transfers.
Integrations with CloudLink: RTSP feed up to five live angles into preferred external coding tools.
Spiideo Replay - For Coaches + Officials
Replay combines multiple angles to get the call right. Partners can have as many angles as they want depending on how many cameras are installed and get access to all those cameras in one hub. The standard number of feeds is seven and you can easily work through the correct angles to find the best view for the play. With Virtual Panorama and low latency video, you can get decisive sight lines in seconds from just one angle. Replay works on a desktop computer, laptop or tablet and can be accessed remotely from anywhere.

League Exchange
The league exchange is an incredible tool that gives users access to video across their league. You’re able to tag games and easily toggle the Autofollow feature cycling between different camera angles.
The red arrow indicates turning auto follow on/off and the purple arrow and box indicate how to access all the angles and cycle through angles. You can download and export recordings and tags of your team or another team from league exchange. All 32 of the AHL’s teams partner with Spiideo and use League Exchange.

Missing Footage
Spiideo’s research shows that traditional broadcast video misses 40% of the action. Its natural that the broadcast camera can’t cover the full ice and all 10 players. At lower level the camera operator might not be able to cover the ice on a quick change of direction. With Spiideo’s technology, you’re able to review footage from multiple angles and get the full picture of EVERY play.
Multiple Angles
Multi angle capturing is used by all 32 NHL teams and has already started to make its way to non professional leagues. There can be multiple reasons why you can’t see a play as we discussed in the last point. Having multiple angles helps given full coverage of the rink and full context of the play. Here are two examples:
Example 1: Rush - 2v1
The broadcast (red box) doesn’t give the depth and positioning of the two forwards and 1 defensemen. Using the back camera (green box) can give us the proper angle to review the positioning and decisions of the purple forwards and the yellow defensemen.

Example 2: Net Front Positioning
Our second example is two fold, from the perspective of the goalie and the net front player. On the broadcast image it looks like the player has established a great net front positioning. On the back camera we can see the player isn’t taking away the goalies eyes. We can use this example to show the goalie he is doing a good job on the short side but also to teach the net front player he needs to position himself better.

Remote Tagging
Video coaching has come a long way but there are still part time and internship opportunities. With remote tagging, your staff is still able to work no matter if you’re at home or on the road. If the part time staff member or intern. doesn’t travel, they are still able to remote tag the games and the coaches can go on Spiideo and access the clips.
Working Offline
Spiideo now offers the option to work offline. Coaches have to be efficient as possible with their work and working on the bus or plane is a great way to do this. You can download your tags and video to create your meetings and not worry about wifi connections.
